He began his career as a medical laboratory technologist and assistant lecturer at the university from which he graduated, but he fell in love with Hospitality rather than Hospitals. After working in the hospitality industry for 12 years as a cleaner, kitchen porter, supervisor, and stewarding manager, he was inspired by talent and people to establish Holly recruitment ltd. His passion for teaching allows him to see the market from a client and candidate perspective with natural passion and connection with recruitment and develop others with a high standard of attention to detail and ownership.

Solomon earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Addis Ababa University. He began his career as a banker at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia. He began his career in the hospitality industry, where he discovered his passion for customer service and satisfaction. His advancement to the position of department head was rapid, and he was leading the department to be the best and the hotel to success by establishing high standards of health and safety. He has been the leading figure of the new opening 2 restaurants and 1 afternoon tea lounge at Mandarin oriental Hyde Park London. His enthusiasm for the industry and attention to detail led him to establish his own cleaning and recruitment company in 2015; since then, he has served as the director of DCS and is now the Marketing and Operations Manager of Holly Recruitment Ltd. His 7 years of experience as a director, as well as his successful recruitment, leadership, training, mentorship skills, customer relations, being a man of his word, and taking ownership for the service he provides, are assets he builds in this industry.
